Classes
The classes, in detail
Who each one is for, what happens in it, and how to book.

Traditional Hatha Yoga
- Who it is for
- For experienced practitioners, and for beginners who want to learn the full form from the start.
- What happens
- Ninety minutes in the full classical form, from opening relaxation to final relaxation, with two breathing practices, sun salutations and the twelve postures in between.
- Format
- Weekly group class in Siem Reap. Private sessions. Hotels and retreats.

Gentle Hatha Yoga
- Who it is for
- Beginners, older students, anyone returning after illness or injury, and those who prefer a slower class.
- What happens
- The traditional class at a slower pace, with fewer postures and help with any of them when you need it. Nobody is pushed.
- Format
- Private sessions, or groups for hotels, by arrangement.

Pranayama, Meditation and Deep Relaxation
- Who it is for
- If your mind runs faster than you would like, or postures are not for you, this is the class to begin with.
- What happens
- Seated and lying practices only: kapalabhati to wake the body, alternate-nostril breathing to settle it, a guided meditation, and a long relaxation.
- Format
- Private sessions, or groups for teams, by arrangement.

Pelvic Floor and Core Yoga
- Who it is for
- Women after birth, anyone with a weak or tight pelvic floor, and anyone whose lower back needs more support.
- What happens
- Slow, precise work on the pelvic floor and the deep abdominal and spinal muscles, with the breath leading each contraction and release, so that these muscles learn to work together.
- Format
- Small groups. Private sessions.

Prenatal Yoga
- Who it is for
- Every stage of pregnancy, once your doctor or midwife is happy for you to practise. No yoga experience needed.
- What happens
- Postures adapted as the months pass, breathing you can use in labour, and rest. We work on the hips, the back and the pelvic floor.
- Format
- By appointment, in Siem Reap or online. Prenatal workshops for parents can also be arranged.

Postnatal Yoga
- Who it is for
- Mothers, once a doctor or midwife has given the go-ahead after birth.
- What happens
- Gentle movement and breathing to rebuild the pelvic floor and core, and to ease the back and shoulders.
- Format
- By appointment, in Siem Reap or online.

Family Yoga (children 9 and over)
- Who it is for
- Parents and children who want to practise together.
- What happens
- A traditional Hatha class adapted for both: postures and breathing suited to each age, and a shared relaxation at the end.
- Format
- By arrangement, for families, community events and hotels.

Private Yoga Sessions
- Who it is for
- Anyone who wants the practice planned around them: a visitor with three mornings in Siem Reap, a beginner who would rather learn alone, a student with an injury to work around.
- What happens
- We talk first, then practise. The session follows what your body can do that day and what you want from it.
- Format
- Your hotel, your home, or online.
I also offer Reiki sessions: you lie still and rest, with no postures at all. Reiki
